About Kazuya Uyesugi, DDS
Dr. Kaz Uyesugi, a skilled and highly trained dentist, is committed to creating healthy, beautiful smiles for each of his patients. Dr. Uyesugi has been practicing outstanding dentistry for more than 30 years. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California in Berkeley and then went on to obtain his dental degree at the University of the Pacific in 1985. After dental school, he completed his general practice residency at Valley Medical Center Fresno in June 1986. Residency training allowed him to expand his skills and interests in all phases of dentistry, extending his education far beyond his training in dental school. Using the knowledge he obtained during residency in Fresno, California, cosmetic dentist Dr. Uyesugi has expanded the range of services to include pedodontic dentistry. He specializes in a wide variety of cosmetic and restorative dental procedures and works with his patients to get the results they have always desired. Dr. Uyesugi believes that excellence in dentistry lies in the relationships that he develops with his patients. Only after listening to his patient’s goals and concerns does he attempt to address their dental needs. When planning treatment, he includes each patient as an active partner in the decision-making process to ensure that the outcome satisfies his patient’s’ desires and needs. Dr. Uyesugi was also one of the founding members of the San Jose Study Group, which was a chapter of the Seattle Study Club. In his free time, he enjoys attending San Jose Sharks, Golden State Warriors, San Francisco 49er games with his children and traveling with his wife. He hopes to attend many more conferences pertaining to dental health and beautiful smiles as his practice continues to grow.
