About Katie M. Van Haren, DDS
Dr. Van Haren also received her Doctorate of Dental Service degree from the University of Michigan after attending Central Michigan University for her bachelors in science degree. She honed her skills working with prestigious dentists in Grand Rapids and Big Rapids before starting the practice with Andrew. She has exceptional clinical skills and a passion for helping patients understand the value of every day dental maintenance and care. Dr. Van Haren is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Michigan Dental Association, and the West Michigan Dental Association. She is dedicated to keeping up with the latest techniques in dentistry and known among patients for her warm smile and friendly approach. Dr. Van Haren grew up in Merrill, Michigan – a farming community located in mid-Michigan – and spent summers helping out with her family's ice cream shop and farm. When not practicing, she joins Andrew as an avid golfer, cross-country skier and fan of the outdoors. She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. Dr. Van Haren is also an excellent cook and baker (much to Andrew's pleasure!).
