About Kathy Akman, Aesthetician Specialist
Kathy is a dual-licensed esthetician and massage therapist whose mission is to make her clients look and feel their best. Her journey into wellness started in 1995 when she left a managerial career in hospitality to open her own business. Additional opportunities brought her to spas in exclusive locales, such as Pebble Beach and Palm Springs. Kathy served as Assistant Spa Director at the Four Seasons where she was lauded for her “five diamond” level of service in treatments as lead esthetician and massage therapist. Educated mostly on the West Coast, Kathy has undergone extensive instruction in both of her fields and is a graduate of the International Dermal Institute. Kathy’s practice is strongly centered on the needs of those she serves. As such, she feels that part of her role is to educate clients on long-term regimes they can use at home to promote not just a better outward appearance, but also a happier, healthier life.
