About Kathryn Duplantis
Kathryn Duplantis, M.D., specializes in hair restoration, laser surgery and liposuction. Dr. Duplantis is a cosmetic surgeon. Dr. Duplantis received her Doctor of Medicine Degree from the Medical College of Virginia. She served her internship at Brooke Army Medical Center and her residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Her fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery was completed under the guidance of Dr. Bluford Stough, a world renowned hair transplant surgeon, and Dr. Randall Weyrich, an equally well known facial plastic surgeon. Currently, Dr. Duplantis holds staff privileges at Medical City Dallas Hospital. She has been published in the American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery ""Eyebrow Transplantation: A Simplified Technique"". Dr. Duplantis is a native of Texas and a graduate of the College of William and Mary. Her expertise lies in hair, eye brow, eyelash, beard and mustache restoration, laser scalp reduction, browlifts (direct and suspension), tumescent liposuction, submental lipectomy under twilight anesthesia, laser skin resurfacing, laser sclerotherapy (facial and leg veins), lip augmentation and other cosmetic procedures. She is one of a select few cosmetic surgeons in the world who perform eyebrow and eyelash transplantation.
