About Karen Y. Fann, MD
Dr. Karen Fann is an ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeon who also specializes in facial plastics. She strives to meet her patients’ needs and says, “Nothing makes me happier than when my patients feel better, feel happier and feel cared for.” Dr. Fann received her medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at Grandview Medical Center and Kettering Medical Network in Dayton, Ohio. She holds board certifications in otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery through the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery. In addition to English, she speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese. Outside her practice, Dr. Fann has a passion for learning about and experiencing different cultures, especially food, art and philosophy.
