About K A. Kim
Dr. Alex Kim grew up in Japan and attended Nagasaki University School of Medicine. After practicing as a plastic surgeon in Japan, he relocated to the U.S. in 1986. Dr. Alex Kim had surgery training at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and Loma Linda University Medical Center, and Plastic surgery fellowship at University of Southern California in Los Angeles. In 1997, Dr Kim opened his private practice in Beverly Hills. Dr. Kim is board-certifed in Plastic Surgery, and is an active member of American Society of Plastic Surgeons and California Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is also a Fellow of American College of Surgeons. Dr. Kim has a strong interests in facial and breast plastic surgery for both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Kim has performed more than 3000 breast augmentation and reconstructive procedures since opening his practice. In addition, Dr. Kim specializes body contouring procedures. Dr. Kim has volunteered services to many developing countries including Nigeria, Vietnam, Mexico, Peru, and Ethiopia. He has worked with many organizations including Project Vietnam, Open Heart Foundation, and Ethiopia HealthAid.
