About Julio A. Sixto, DMD
Dr. Sixto set his goal of becoming a dentist at a young age, after experiencing how excellent dental care was able to heal and empower patient lives. Wanting such a powerful gift to heal others, he set out on a quest to pay it forward. Dr. Sixto, fluent in Spanish, is originally from Miami, FL. where he earned a Bachelor in Biological Sciences from Florida International University. After graduation and marrying his high school sweetheart, Maria, they relocated to Southern California with their miniature poodle, Benji, to pursue his career in dentistry at Western University of Health Sciences. As a committed lifelong learner, Dr. Sixto is involved in the community and engaged with various dental organizations. He enhances his advanced preventive, restorative, cosmetic and implant skills by seeking out and training with the masters in every field of dentistry and esthetics. He has completed numerous continued education courses provided by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and an implant Continuum at the University of Florida. He is highly knowledgeable and incorporates the latest in modern dental technology into his daily practice — including same day CEREC crowns, Invisalign, Dental Implants, Botox and Dermal fillers for esthetics and Bruxism/TMJ dysfunction. Dr. Sixto’s passion for dentistry can be seen in how he connects with his patients. He finds purpose in improving his patients’ quality of life by taking the time to get to know each patient’s health goals and creating individually tailored treatment plans. In his free time, Dr. Sixto enjoys spending time with his wife, three daughters, Valentina, Camila and Giuliana, fly fishing and enjoying the great outdoors.
