About Julie Philp, MD
Dr. Julie Plante (previously Dr. Julie Philp) is a board certified dermatologist and pediatrician and sees adult and pediatric patients in Healdsburg and Oakmont. Her areas of expertise include pediatric dermatology, general dermatology including cancer surveillance and treatment, and cosmetic rejuvenation. She has a special interest in complementary and alternative medicine and tries to include these treatment modalities in the care plans of her patients when desired. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Society for Pediatric Dermatology. She is a volunteer educator of family practice resident physicians. Dr. Plante was born and raised in Santa Rosa and graduated from Montgomery High School as valedictorian. When not caring for her patients, Dr. Plante enjoys exercising, travel, and spending time with her husband and baby girls.
