About Judy Huey, DDS

In high school Dr. Judy volunteered at a U.S. Public Health Service Hospital and was taught chair-side dental assisting skills by the dentists on staff. She thoroughly enjoyed working with the young dentists who came to work at the clinic after graduating from dental school. Dr. Judy says the dentists were passionate about their work and eager to share their knowledge. Their enthusiasm was contagious and Dr. Judy was caught up in it. Excelling at assisting with a growing fascination for the field of oral health, she was strongly encouraged by the dental staff to pursue dentistry as her vocation. Dr. Judy is a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry, receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1987. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. She was a California State Board Dental Examiner, and served on the Peer Review Board of the San Francisco Dental Society. Dr. Judy was voted one of the Bay Area’s top-rated dentists by the Bay Area Consumer’s Checkbook magazine. After practicing dentistry in San Francisco for over 18 years, she, her husband Brian and their menagerie of two cats and two parrots moved to Scottsdale in search of a better climate and an improved lifestyle. Dr. Judy believes that open communication is paramount to establishing a trusting long term patient-dentist relationship. Every visit involves discussing your concerns and expectations and ensuring your comfort during each phase of treatment.
