She completed a General Surgery residency at Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia, PA before completing a Hand and Microvascular Surgery Fellowship and a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine–Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, MI.
