About Juan P. Garcia, MD
J. Phillip Garcia, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a Jacksonville native who graduated cum laude from Jacksonville University. While attending the University of Miami School of Medicine, he began a specialized study of the head and neck. During his fellowship in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and his internship in General Surgery at the same institution, he trained under leading facial plastic surgeons. Following a residency in Otolaryngology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Garcia completed a specialized fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, at the world-renowned McCollough Plastic Surgery Clinic in Alabama. Dr. Garcia 's focused expertise in rhinoplasty (nasal surgery) and surgery of the aging face benefit other associates in the field and numerous patients. As an educator, he has published numerous papers and has presented several research topics at international events. As a doctor, he is a frontrunner in the advancement of facial plastic surgery in Jacksonville. Dr. Garcia's certifications with the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology as well as his advances in the field of facial plastic surgery have contributed to his notoriety as a leading Jacksonville plastic surgeon.
