About Joseph P. Prasad, DMD
Joseph P. Prasad D.M.D., M.A.G.D., and his team of highly trained professionals are dedicated to providing the finest in restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Zoology from Rutgers University in 1978 and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Medicine & Dentistry New Jersey in 1982. Since then, Dr. Prasad's dedication to excellence continues. Each year he devotes a significant portion of his time to attend numerous advanced continuing education courses. Recently, Dr. Prasad has received training in performing orthodontic treatment utilizing Invisalign® clear braces. Since 1993 he has committed himself to the placement and restoration of dental implants. On June 23rd, 2012 he received his mastership with the Academy of General Dentistry a dental organization dedicated to continuing education. He was previously awarded his fellowship with the prestigious International Congress of Implantology on February 8th, 2008. This training allows Dr. Prasad to provide the highest level of care for his patients. Dr. Prasad is an active member of the International Congress of Implantology, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Union County Dental Association, and New Jersey Dental Association.
