About Joseph Pober, MD, FACS

Joseph Michael Pober, MD, is a summa cum laude graduate of Columbia University as well as Harvard Medical School. At Harvard University, he was specially distinguished by being chosen to simultaneously attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Graduate School. He then trained in both general surgery and plastic surgery at The New York Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia & Cornell Medical Centers. After serving as Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery at The New York Presbyterian Hospital- Columbia & Cornell Medical Center, he completed Double Fellowships: he sub-specialized in cosmetic surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital of The NYU Institute of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery; he further sub specialized in facial sculpting or Crania maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Miami. He has also been the recipient of the Top Plastic Surgeon in New Jersey 2016 and Top Plastic Surgeon in New York 2017 In addition to his private aesthetic practice, he is the Chief of Plastic Surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center at Pascack Valley and on the clinical teaching faculty as an Associate Attending in Plastic Surgery at Hackensack UMC & at St Luke's -Roosevelt Hospitals, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
