About Joseph P. Cutrona, DMD
Dr. Joseph Cutrona prides himself on treating every patient as if he were treating his own family to ensure a positive experience. Apprehensive patients are of special interest, as he is committed to breaking down barriers that may have prevented patients from seeking treatment in the past. Dr. Cutrona believes there is no reason to have an unpleasant experience in the dental chair and routinely goes out of his way to make sure his patients are comfortable and relaxed. Dr Joseph Cutrona grew up in the St. Louis area where he attended De Smet high school. After receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University, he chose to do an optional residency at the University of Michigan. During his time at U of M, Dr. Cutrona was able to treat large complex cases in an educational setting that most dentists aren’t exposed to for years after graduation. After treating a variety of different cases, he returned to the St. Louis area and joined Plaza Dental team to exercise his proficiency in esthetics, surgery, and treating the apprehensive patient. Outside of the office, Dr. Cutrona enjoys fishing, family, all St. Louis sports, and various blues music venues throughout the City.
