About Joseph E. Bousaba, DMD

My name is Joe Bousaba and I am committed to providing my patients with the highest level of dental care and service. I enjoy utilizing technology to educate and empower my patients to allow them to make the best decisions regarding their oral health. I am a self proclaimed dental nerd and I love learning about dental materials, techniques, and the ever evolving landscape of technologic applications in dentistry. I am a native North Carolinian and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following four amazing years in Chapel Hill, I moved to Boston where I completed my dental training at Boston University. I then completed a General Practice Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Following residency my wife and I moved to Denver, Colorado where we lived for nearly five years. We loved exploring the Rocky Mountains and all of Colorado’s beautiful landscape, but eventually recognized the difficulties of being far from our families on the East Coast. We moved to Richmond in 2018 and we are very thankful to be a part of the Richmond community. I enjoy nature and the outdoors – especially running and hiking through the James River Park System. My wife and I also love exploring the ever growing culinary scene in Richmond. Our dental practice is small and intimate. This is intentional and I believe this a stronger way to create and foster meaningful relationships with our patients. I look forward to getting to know you and helping improve and maintain your dental health.
