About Joon Han, DDS
Dr. Joon Han opened Scharrington Dental in 2009 to provide superior dental care for patients of all ages in Schaumburg, IL and surrounding areas. Dr. Han received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry and Music from Illinois Wesleyan University, and his Masters Degree in Chemistry from University of Illinois – Chicago. He then continued on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from University of Illinois – College of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Han was awarded the Howard Kubuki Award for Superior Clinical Performance. He completed three years of post-graduate prosthodontic specialty education at the University of Illinois – College of Dentistry. During his residency, Dr. Han presented his case studies at Nobel Biocare World Conference 2005, International Congress of Oral Implantology 2007 and American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics 2007. Dr. Han is proud to be a Diplomate of American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of American College of Prosthodontists. Currently, Dr. Han is one of 31 Board Certified Prosthodontists in the State of Illinois. As an expert in implant, veneer, crown, bridge, denture, cosmetic, and restorative procedures as well as a master coordinator with specialists such as oral surgeons, periodontists, endodontists and orthodontists, his goal is to provide the most comprehensive care to his patients and his community.
