About Joni Jefferson, DO

Dr. Joni Jefferson has spent her life building up other women and girls, supporting them in becoming their very best selves. Dr. Jefferson understands that health, wellness and preventative maintenance are vital to leading a healthy and happy life. So it only makes sense that she now dedicates her time to helping women feel confident and radiant, so they can shine their light brightly throughout their entire life. Dr. Jefferson attended Spelman College in Atlanta, Ga during which she majored in Psychology-Pre Med. She went on to complete a post-baccalaureate at Southern Illinois University before joining the Masters in Public Health program at UMDNJ. Afterward, she attended medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine-PCOM, followed by a residency at Hunterdon Medical Center. She is Board Certified and has been practicing medicine for over 15 years and has extensive experience in woman’s care and surgical procedures, in addition to completing a cosmetic dermatology fellowship that has prepared her well for her role as a cosmetic physician at Reflections. She has a deep understanding of the role of aesthetics in the outcome of any procedure and has worked to become very skilled at providing excellent cosmetic results through extensive course work, advanced training, mentorships, and hands-on experience. Dr. Jefferson’s patients routinely comment on her wonderful bedside manner and her keen, aesthetic eye. Dr. Jefferson is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, National Medical Association (NMA), and American Osteopathic Association (AOA). As a Board Certified physician, she values academics and prides herself in staying current in all aspects of Non-Surgical Cosmetic Medicine. She has additionally been trained in ALSO – Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and is a certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider (ACLS).
