About John J. Takach, DDS
Dr. John Takach studied dentistry at Temple University, graduating with honors in 1976. He began his career under the mentorship of an experienced dentist, until he started his own practice in Olney Philadelphia in 1978. In 1989 Dr. Takach relocated his practice to Cheltenham where he's focused on providing Family and Cosmetic Dentistry ever since. He stays current on the latest technology, seeking out state-of-the-art solutions through industry groups, continuing education and professional publications. Most recently he was certified to perform dental implants by Hiossen Research Education Center. Dr. Takach earned his undergraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering from Penn Sate in 1968 and went on to serve in the military until 1970. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Philadelphia Dental Association.
