About John S. Selden, DDS
A firm believer in continuing education, Dr. John Selden is dedicated to advancing his own skills and the skills of every one of his staff every year. Since graduating from the University of North Carolina Adams School of Dentistry in Chapel Hill. He also devotes time to publishing his own clinical research in the field of dental implants and serves as a mentor and coach to other dentists who aspire to excellence in practice. In practice in Charlotte since 1999, Dr. Selden relishes adding fun to his daily work by sporting bold bow ties and colorful socks. His patients are also his friends and he treasures his relationships with them. In his personal life, Dr. Selden has been married for twenty years to Dr. Kymberly Selden who works in the practice. In addition to lifting weights, cycling, swimming and tennis, Dr. Selden enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and coaching his kids in sports. Dr. Selden established Team iDoc as the charitable arm of Inspired Dentistry of Charlotte. He and his team have supported research into heart disease, orphanages, battered women’s shelters and other charities.
