About John K. Lee, DMD
Dr. John K. Lee is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. He received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2004. He is a recipient of the Navy Health Professions Scholarship Program. He has served on two mission trips providing dental care to families in Jamaica. Dr. Lee completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at Great Lakes Naval Hospital in Illinois where he honed his dental skills in the areas Endodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Oral Surgery. Dr. Lee went on to serve on the Aircraft Carrier, U.S.S. Kitty Hawk CV63 as the Dental Officer stationed in Yokosuka, Japan. During his time onboard, he provided dental care to more than 5000 sailors (ship’s company) and air wing and their pilots. Treatments of Root Canals, Crowns and Bridge, Oral Surgery, and Operatives were common due to excellent dental facilities, staff and lab technicians onboard his ship. While serving his country, Dr. Lee also acted as a Children’s Dental Health Mentor. Navy Lieutenant John K. Lee was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Navy Sea Service Ribbon, and Navy & Marine Corps Overseas Service Ribbon. Following his Honorable Discharge from Active Duty in 2007, Dr. Lee stayed with the U.S. Navy Reserves reporting to the Willow Grove Naval Air Station. He entered private practice in the fall of 2007 in Norristown, PA. Currently, Dr. Lee is practicing in Lyndhurst, NJ. He is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is a member of American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA) and Bergen County Dental Society. Dr. Lee is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Dr. John K. Lee has a unique kind of a practice philosophy. He will get to know you and take time to listen to you. He will be there to make sure you are comfortable and provide you with the best possible dental care. Dr. Lee and his dental team will offer the highest level of care and compassion that creates a lasting relationship of trust and loyalty with our patients. When Dr. Lee is not practicing dentistry he is spending time with his wife and his two boys (Hudson and Harrison). Hopefully, his boys will join the practice in the near future.
