About John A. Kotis, DO
Dr. John A. Kotis is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with over 20 years of experience in medicine and surgery. In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he has completed a three-year residency in general surgery and a three-year residency and fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery. As part of a teaching faculty, Dr. Kotis is vastly trained on the latest techniques, giving his patients access to the newest industry innovations. In addition, he is continually taking courses, reading journals, and learning new techniques from around the globe. His dedication to honing his craft allows him to deliver optimal results and the highest level of service to his patients. Dr. Kotis was elected as the chairman of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons Section of Plastic Surgery from 2012 to 2014 and is currently a Board Examiner and test question writer for doctors who are working to become board-certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
