My name is Johanah. I am 100% a So Cal girl, blessed by the weather but cursed with all this sun. Like many of you, I grew up with a mom telling me to “ wear your sun screen”, but as a teenager, that was WAY too much work. I struggled with acne growing up and wanted nothing more than to have the same skin as those girls in the magazines. Some people are just blessed with good skin and others have to work hard at it. Either way maintaining good skin takes work and one thing we all have in common is the inevitable aging process. How graceful you age is definitely up to you. It took many years before I realized, just like your body, skin doesn’t change over night. Patience and dedication in something as simple as applying sun screen consistently, could mean everything. I have been an Aesthetician for 7 years and I love being an Aesthetician because I get the privilege to correct most skin concerns and have the opportunity to make clients feel confident in their skin.
