About Jiyoung Kim, DDS

Prosthodontists are advanced dental specialists with at least three years of additional training after dental school in an accredited university or hospital-based post-graduate program. They receive extensive training in dental implants, dentures, veneers, crowns, bridges, and the correction of functional and aesthetic imbalances of a smile. Dr. Jiyoung Kim completed her undergraduate education at the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1992. After graduating in 1996 from the University of Southern California earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Kim had both a private practice in West Los Angeles and a staff position as an instructor at USC School of Dentistry. In order to further her experience and expertise, Dr. Kim completed a three year program of Advanced studies in Prosthodontics at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2001.
