About Jerry Liu, DDS
"This letter is to introduce myself, Dr. Jerry Liu and to welcome you to my practice. My vision is to offer caring, comfortable, and comprehensive dental care. To help you get to know me, I'll share a little bit about my background and how I came to love the practice of dentistry. I grew up in a family of artists. My training in art has taught me to appreciate beauty and strive for perfection. By inspiring me to complement the technology of dentistry with the precision of artisanship, it has also directly impacted my approach to dental medicine. In my mind, art and dentistry are joined together in a synthesis of beauty and compassion. After graduating from University of California at San Diego with biology degree and minored in art, I decided on a career that would channel my creative talents through a hands-on approach in the healthcare field. Several dentists who I volunteered with in a free dental clinic became my mentors and inspired me to consider becoming a dentist. From there I went on to attend University of California San Francisco, one of the top dental schools in the country. I worked as an associate in East Bay for ten years before settling down in Lafayette to build my dream practice."
