About Jennifer D. Rens, DDS
Dr. Rens is a different kind of dentist. Her warmth, compassion, and enthusiasm radiate throughout the practice. Her unique personalized approach is comprehensive and straightforward. Her genuine interest and compassion for people and love of dentistry create a new kind of dental practice, combining the latest in modern technology with exceptional, comfortable patient care. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, where she was on the Dean's List. Dr. Rens has been recognized by her industry peers as being amongst the most broadly educated dentists in the country, and has achieved a level of licensing credentials attained by less than 1% of the more than 26,000 dentists in California. Dr. Rens is passionate about the latest advances and technologies in dentistry. Areas in which she has achieved advanced certifications and various awards include CAD/CAM computer aided CEREC dentistry, Sedation Dentistry at all level, Orthodontics both Removable and Braces, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, Implants both surgical placement and restoration, TMJ and Occlusion, and Comprehensive Aesthetic Dentistry. Jenny finds great pleasure and deep fulfillment in helping people achieve their optimum dental health and their own personal smile goals. Her solid dedication to on-going relationship-based, comprehensive dentistry has allowed Dr. Rens to earn her reputation for providing the very best in dental care with understanding and compassion and has gained her patients' fierce loyalty. Dr, Rens is active in several professional dental associations including the America Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), San Diego County Dental Society (SDCDS), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), and the San Diego Cerec Study group. She enjoys presenting her most challenging cases to her professional peers. A La Jolla native and second generation dentist, Jenny lives here with her husband, Adam, and their two sons. She is an avid surfer and tennis player.
