About Jennifer Aranda, MD

Dr. Jennifer Aranda, a native of Caracas, Venezuela, is a board-certified dermatologist with Snyder Dermatology in Austin, TX. She specializes in all aspects of dermatology, including medical to treat common and serious skin conditions, as well as cosmetic to rejuvenate the skin to a younger, healthier appearance. Dr. Aranda is highly trained and skilled to perform the latest treatments in the least invasive manner. She is excited to be a part of our practice and serve patients of all ages from across the Austin area. Whether her patient visits Snyder Dermatology for a skin infection, rash, or other common condition such as eczema or acne, Dr. Aranda is trained and prepared to offer an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. She is passionate about educating her patients on the negative impact the sun can do to the skin, and gives mole checks and skin cancer screenings routinely to her patients. Dr. Aranda is also expertly trained to perform a number of cosmetic skin treatments to rejuvenate the skin and turn back the hands of time. From fine lines and wrinkles, to acne scars, sun damage, skin pigmentation, and skin laxity, she is able to offer the appropriate procedure to create a softer, healthier appearance. Dr. Aranda graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Georgia, and attended medical school at Emory University. She completed a year internship at Atlanta Medical Center and a 3-year Dermatology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW) in Dallas, TX. Dr. Aranda has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and has co-authored 2 textbook chapters. She served as a clinical instructor of Dermatology at UTSW in Dallas and Brigham, and at the Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. Dr. Aranda is board certified, and is a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Aranda is currently an Assistant Professor of Dermatology in the Department of Women's Health at the University of Texas Dell Medical School. Dr. Aranda is very proud to join Dr. Snyder to bring the best dermatological care to Austin residents. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband and 2 sons. She is also fluent in both Spanish and French.
