About Jayne E. Bird, MD
Dr. Bird completed her dermatology residency at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, during which she served as chief resident in her final year. Dr. Bird gained a rich experience caring for a diversity of patients both medically and surgically. Dr. Bird Is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She published several papers in general dermatology and dermapathology and presented at both regional and national meetings. Prior to Brown University, Dr. Bird trained as a medical intern at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was awarded the Merck Award for Academic Excellence as well as the Samuel Spiegel, M.D. Memorial Award for clinical honors. She was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, where she served as the chapter’s vice president. Dr. Bird is originally from Mountain Home, Idaho and received her undergraduate degrees in Business Finance and Mathematics from the University of Idaho.
