About Jayme Martinez, DDS
Dr. Martinez was always interested in science. He studied Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Texas at Austin and participated in the SPEP summer program at the Baylor College of Dentistry as an undergraduate. During this time, he shadowed a dentist in the Dallas area and learned about the profession. In particular, its unique combination of artistry, science, and the ability to help people really spoke to him. Dr. Martinez chose to attend Baylor College of Dentistry for his dental degree where he was a member of the Hispanic Student Dental Association and Psi Omega Dental Fraternity. He also participated in the summer research program during his first year. Additionally, he has achieved certification in nitrous oxide and Level 1 Sedation. Today, he regularly participates in continuing education to keep his skills sharp, including advanced skills like dental sleep medicine, cosmetic dentistry, and implant dentistry.
