About Jay R. Friedman, DDS
Dr. Friedman graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dentistry in 1982, and in 1984 received a qualification in Advanced Prosthodontics from the University of Southern California. In 1994, Dr. Friedman was invited to join the faculty of the Misch International Implant Institute. In 2005, Dr. John Suzuki, a faculty member of the Misch Institute and Associate Dean of Temple University, asked Dr. Friedman to join the faculty of Temple. Dr. Friedman has, and continues to maintain positions at both institutions. Dr. Friedman has worked and mentored in many private dental practices across the United States, and has placed and/or restored more than 10,000 implants. He is currently licensed in five (5) states: California, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Texas, with more being added upon request for on-site procedures. Dr. Friedman has a passion for teaching and bringing his expertise to other dentists in private practice.
