About Jay L. Dworkin, DMD
Jay Dworkin, DMD is a top-tier dentist at Southern Connecticut Dental Group, a comprehensive dental practice conveniently located in the towns of Southbury and Ansonia in Connecticut. He’s passionate about helping patients from communities across New Haven County achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. Dr. Dworkin pursued his Bachelor of Arts from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University of Dental Medicine in Boston. After completing his general practice residency at Jewish Memorial Hospital in New York City, he pursued his postgraduate studies at the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies, New York University, and the Institute for Advanced Dentistry in Boston. Dr. Dworkin is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Connecticut State Dental Society. In addition to being an active member and past president of the Naugatuck Valley Dental Society, he is also actively involved with the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and the Southbury Business Association.
