About Jasveen S. Wadia, DDS
Dr. Jasveen Wadia was born and raised in Escondido, CA., where his mother has practiced dentistry for over 30 years. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of California, Los Angeles majoring in biological sciences and minoring in neuroscience. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree, he continued his studies at the University of Southern California where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After working and improving his skills as a general dentist for a few years, Dr. Wadia decided to return back to the University of Southern California to specialize in Periodontology and Dental Implantology and to earn a Masters degree in Craniofacial Biology focusing on the novel treatment of multiple gingival recession defects with the Vestibular Incision Subperiosteal Tunnel Access (VISTA) approach. While at the University of Southern California, Dr. Wadia received extensive training in biomimetic and cosmetic dentistry. He earned the Dean’s List Award for every semester while working on the clinic floor. Dr. Wadia was an active member of USC Mobile Dental Clinic, an organization striving to provide crucial dental services for children in at-risk communities of Southern California. He also volunteered to serve the dental needs of the homeless population at the Union Rescue Mission in downtown Los Angeles. Additionally, Dr. Wadia was selected to participate with the University of Southern California Dental Humanitarian team on their travels to Kenya to provide much needed dental treatment to underserved communities. During his years as a resident in the Advanced Periodontology Department, Dr. Wadia earned awards at the prestigious University of Southern California Annual Research Day in 2018 and in 2019. Furthermore, in 2019, Dr. Wadia was selected as an Academy of Osseointegration Foundation Travel Grant Award winner in Washington, D.C. These invaluable experiences and the dedicated faculty at University of Southern California School of Dentistry have solidified Dr. Wadia’s motivation and determination to provide the best care for each and every one of his patients. In his free time, Dr. Wadia enjoys traveling and is an avid sports fan. He loves to play racquetball, and welcomes others to come play and have a great time. Dr. Wadia looks forward to many years of service and maintaining the high level of treatment and tradition at Wadia Dental Group.
