About Jason P. Lipton, DDS
Dr. Lipton is a general dentist with over 18 years of professional experience in San Mateo, California. He enjoys helping patients achieve beautiful and healthy smiles that have been made possible through unprecedented advancements in modern dentistry. Dr. Lipton strengthens his practice by keeping abreast of advancements in modern dental procedures, utilizing state of the art equipment, and attending conferences and lectures. After graduating from UC Davis, Dr. Lipton pursued his DDS at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. Upon graduation, he completed a residency in hospital based dentistry at Evanston Hospital. After practicing in the Chicago area, he returned to his native Northern California where he took over the practice from Dr. William Layton, the family dentist he went to as a child. Dr. Lipton's years of experience and commitment to continuing education for both himself and his staff form the basis for the exceptional oral and aesthetic dental care. Dr. Lipton is a member and fellowship awardee of the Academy of General Dentistry, the California Dental Association, the American Dental Association, San Mateo County Dental Society, and the Peninsula-Seattle Study Club - a prestigious club dedicated to providing continuing education above and beyond what is required. Outside the office, Dr. Lipton enjoys spending time with his wife and their twin sons, trying to stay in shape, and playing drums.
