About Janell Moran-Kenny, DDS
Superior Smiles Park Central, is owned by Dr. Janell Moran-Kenny, although most all patients know her as Dr. Kenny. Dr. Kenny grew up in the Panhandle of Texas in Amarillo. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University in 1983 and then her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1987. She has been practicing dentistry with a passion for over 30 years. In 2008 she relocated her office and built out a space that reflects the warm caring nature of her dental practice and the esthetics of her dentistry. During the span of her career, Dr. Kenny has developed a real skill for recreating beautiful, natural-looking form and function in teeth. Patients routinely comment that not only is their dental work very pretty, but the procedures were not at all uncomfortable. Dr. Kenny firmly believes that this is possible not only because of her compassionate, gentle care but also because of her small hands! What an asset for a dentist! And, for Dr. Kenny and her staff at Superior Smiles, patient comfort is a high priority. Dr. Kenny is proud of the warm, homey environment of her office and the caring attitude and skill of her staff. Patient treatment needs are presented candidly and thoroughly so that patients understand their needs and their options. Dr. Kenny understands that having dental treatment done can feel like a very “personal” decision and she wants the patient to participate in the process where possible. Dr. Kenny pursues many hours of continuing education every year in all aspects of dentistry and enthusiastically employs new materials and techniques for her patients’ benefit. She and her husband, Wil, have two adult children and one grandson and a bevy of rescued dogs. Dr Kenny loves to read, garden and runs daily with her dogs.
