About James N. Thang, DMD
Dr. James N. Thang obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1979 from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He then moved to Houston Texas in 1980 and opened his first private practice in downtown Houston. After 27 years in downtown, he relocated the practice to it's current location in Southwest Houston in 2007. Dr. Thang has extensive continuing education training in implant dentistry as well as orthodontics from the United States Dental Institute and has been a member of both The Academy of GP Orthodontics and The Academy of General Dentistry for over 30 years. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Thang can be found composing music and practicing jazz piano.
