About James L. Schmidt, D.D.S.
Dr. James L. Schmidt is a graduate of Northwestern University Dental School. He completed a one-year general hospital dental residency program at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, and he is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Schmidt is actively involved in his community and has done free dental care over the past several years for The Donated Dental Services Program of the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. He also participates in providing free dental care for the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Charitable Foundation and the Give Back a Smile program for battered and abused women. Dr. Schmidt has been practicing dentistry in south St. Louis for 30 years and strives to provide high-quality dentistry in a comfortable, caring environment, most recently Dr. Schmidt and his associates Dr. Hopp and Dr. Cayo received an award for “St Louis Best Dentist” from St. Louis Magazine.
