About James Maxwell, DMD
Dr. James Maxwell was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Allegheny College in 1995 with a B.S. Degree in Biology. He then entered the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and graduated in the spring of 2000 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. In February 2003, Dr. Maxwell became the sole practitioner of Crestwood Dental Group. He and his wife, Stacey, reside in Des Peres with their daughters, Brayden, Bryleigh and Prairey, and son, Blaize. Dr. Maxwell is a member of several professional organizations including The American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and The Greater St. Louis Dental Society. He keeps his knowledge of the latest dental technology and materials current by annually attending over 100 hours of continuing education in the field of dentistry, including Advanced Laser Dentistry courses and training at The Dawson Academy. He is skilled in all aspects of general dentistry, but primarily focuses his practice in the areas of cosmetic, restorative, and preventative dentistry for the entire family. For 5 years in a row, Dr. Maxwell has been nominated by his peers as one of the top dentists in St. Louis, a list which appears in St. Louis Magazine.
