About James R. Garden, DDS
Dr. James R. Garden, D.D.S. received his B.A. degree in biology from SUNY@Buffalo in 1980 and his D.D.S. degree from SUNY@Buffalo in 1985. Dr. Garden opened his first dental practice in 1985 in Syracuse, NY and rapidly outgrew this location and relocated only a few short miles to the Westvale Professional Bldg in Syracuse in 1989. Dr. Garden continued practicing there for 10 more years until 1999. In the summer of 1999, Dr. Garden and his family relocated to Charlotte citing the favorable climate and living conditions as their reason for moving. Dr. Garden opened the Cosmetic and Family Dental Center of Matthews in September 2000 and is now entering his 25th year of providing quality family dentistry for all ages. Dr. Garden is A.D.A board certified and licensed with the Northeast Regional Boards, Florida, and North Carolina. Dr. Garden is a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, the N.C Dental Society, and the NYS Dental Society. Dr. Garden has two sons, Joseph ( UNCC) and Zachary ( SUNY@Buffalo). Dr. Garden is a contributor to the Siskey YMCA, the Matthews Playhouse, and several local high school sports programs and yearbooks. Dr. Garden enjoys weightlifting, boxing, photography, anything motorcycle related and spending time with his family.
