About Jaime Perez, MD

Born in Venezuela, Dr. Jaime Perez moved to the United States when he was seventeen years old to attend college at Kean University in New Jersey. After receiving his B.S. in Biology, Dr. Perez attended New Jersey Medical School where he received his Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Perez then completed five years of general surgery training before completing his fellowship training in plastic surgery at UMDNJ. There he trained with some of the most well respected plastic surgeons in New York and New Jersey. Dr. Perez came to Florida in 1999 to do an extra year of specialized training in hand and microvascular surgery at the University of South Florida. Dr. Jaime Perez is an experienced plastic surgeon in Tampa, FL, that concentrates primarily on body sculpting and body contouring procedures. With many years of experience, he understands the importance of approaching each patient as a unique case with the goal of helping them achieve their ultimate goals. During his spare time, Dr. Perez enjoys spending time with his family, and enjoying a variety of outdoor activities. Dr. Perez has been in private practice in Tampa, Florida since 2000. He opened his new office and operating suite, the Plastic Surgery Center of Tampa, in 2008 and currently runs a thriving practice specializing in all areas of cosmetic surgery. Dr. Perez is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, board-certified by the American Board of Surgery, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Clinical Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of South Florida.
