About Jai R. Kakanar, DDS
Dr. Jai Kakanar graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from his school in India in 1988. Later, he was accepted into the accelerated dental program at Loma Linda University. He graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1995. He practiced until the end of 1998 as an Associate Dentist in Riverside and Orange County. In 1999, he started his practice in Glendale. From 2006 to 2013, he maintained his second office in Upland – UPLAND SMILES. As a general dentist, he treats adults, teens and children in a wide capacity, ranging from cosmetic dentistry to crowns, bridges and implants. He believes that, with advances in dental techniques, there is no reason why most people should not be able to keep their natural teeth for a lifetime. His goal is to work with you to attain this. Dr. Jai Kakanar and his staff believe in taking time to get to know the patients and provide quality dental treatment in a caring and gentle manner. His office is committed to keeping abreast of the latest technology through regular training by participating in Continuing Education programs. Amongst the services provided are replacements of worn-out fillings and teeth with ceramic fillings, crowns, clear braces and implant dentistry. Dr. Jai Kakanar is a member of American Dental Association®, California Dental Association, San Fernando Valley Dental Society, Glendale and Fellow of Academy of Dentistry International. Dr. Jai Kakanar also volunteers his services to Glendale Healthy Kids, an organization committed to meeting the healthcare needs of children without medical or dental insurance coverage.
