About Jackson Owen, DDS
Dr .Owen After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Science and Health from the University of Utah, Dr. Jackson Owen completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He loves living and practicing in the Austin area. Dr. Owen is a member of the Texas Dental Association, the Capital Area Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association. He knows that continuing his dental education is the key to staying at the forefront of dental technology, so he attends many advanced training courses throughout the year. In his spare time, he enjoys football, basketball, and tennis, as well as reading and spending time with his wife, Cara, and their four children. Dr. Owen purchased the practice from Dr. William Hyden in July of 2014. Dr. Hyden founded his practice over 40 years ago based on providing the highest care possible to his patients. Dr. Owen worked closely with Dr. Hyden for several years and now strives to maintain Dr. Hyden's legacy of quality dental care. The office expanded in 2017 when Dr. Owen took over for Dr. Mollie Kentor, who had been practicing next door. By establishing a practice based on trust and care, Dr. Owen is able to provide excellent dental care to all of his patients in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. He looks forward to getting to know you and your family.
