About Ivy Chan, DDS
Dr. Ivy Chan graduated from the dental school of University of Hong Kong in 1980 in the top 5 % of her class with distinctions and scholarships. After graduation, Dr. Chan worked for the Hong Kong Government Dental Service until 1993 when she moved to the United States. In the same year, she successfully obtained the California Dental License and joined the dental department of North East Medical Services where she was appointed as the Acting Dental Director from 2003 to 2005. Dr. Ivy Chan started her private dental practice in 2006 with a desire to enter a new phase of her professional career and a deep passion to be a part of modern dentistry. She views dentistry to be both an art and a science - using well- established and new technologies and materials to restore aesthetics and function with elements of artistry. She is very active in attending continuing educational programs to equip her with the most recent technology and procedures in dentistry. Dr. Chan prides herself on providing her patients high quality, gentle dental care with special attention to individual needs and personal preference. She strives to establish lasting relationships with her patients to help them restore and maintain functional oral health and have beautiful smiles!
