About Ivan Green, DDS
Dr. Green grew up in the northwest Detroit area, attended local public schools and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Detroit. After graduation, Dr. Green was on the U of D faculty as a laboratory instructor in Oral Pathology which position was followed by appointment as attending staff at Sinai Hospital in Detroit. He also practiced dentistry in the Detroit suburbs on a full time basis. Several years after graduation, Dr. Green moved to NYC where he established a Cosmetic/ Reconstructive practice in the Lincoln Center area. Living and practicing in NYC offered the opportunity to study and work with some of the finest dentists in the country. Also, Dr. Green served as attending staff at St. Luke's/ Roosevelt in primarily a teaching position with the Residency Program. Shortly after returning to Michigan, he was appointed to the faculty at UDM where he had the pleasure of working with dental students in a variety of academic and clinical disciplines. In time, it became clear that as much as he enjoyed teaching, he enjoyed private practice more and was soon back practicing dentistry. Last year, after working at Great White dental for several months and meeting many wonderful, welcoming patients, he decided to purchase the practice and re-establish a clinical and professional home base.
