About Iris Gin, MD
Iris Gin, MD is the founding director of Kalia Dermatology and Laser Center in Los Gatos, California, where she specializes in providing the highest quality medical and aesthetic skin care to residents of the San Francisco Bay and Silicon Valley areas. Dr. Gin has been a leader and innovator in cosmetic, laser, and medical dermatology for more than two decades. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Dr. Gin moved to Los Angeles and received her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California. Following a medical internship at University of California Los Angeles Medical Center, she went on to complete her residency in dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where she performed several clinical studies during the developmental stages of dermatological lasers. Dr. Gin is one of the most recognizable names in the field of dermatology. She is the NBC Bay Area Living Well Expert in dermatology, and has been featured on a variety of news and media including NBC, KRON, Best of the Bay TV, and SJ Mercury News. In addition to publishing in several peer-reviewed journals in her field, Dr. Gin has been a featured speaker at the American Academy of Dermatology.
