About Irene Nosrati, DDS
Dr. Irene is a general & cosmetic family dentist with over 10 years of experience, previously practicing general and cosmetic dentistry in private practice in Chicago. She is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis, IN, and a 5th generation dentist in her family. She received her undergraduate degree cum laude from Butler University in Indianapolis, with a triple major in Chemistry, French, and Spanish, and a minor in Business Administration. Dr. Irene is passionate about learning and expanding her horizons in all fields of dentistry and has attended, and continues to attend, numerous courses to further advance her knowledge and skills and to stay up to date with the most recent technologies. Among many great courses, she has completed a hands-on aesthetic continuum for full mouth veneer & crown makeovers, training in complex implant restorative solutions, a mini residency in TMJ and sleep disorders, advanced training in oral sedation dentistry, root canal therapy, extraction of impacted wisdom teeth, Interceptive Orthodontics for children, appliance therapy, as well as Invisalign therapy for teenagers and adults. Dr. Irene is a silver preferred provider for Invisalign; she has trained one-on-one with the doctors at Invisalign and has vast experience with complex cases for patients of all ages. Dr. Irene stays up to date with the most recent advances in technology to provide you the highest quality care available. She performs root canal therapy using a surgical microscope that allows for incredible precision and predictability with treatment outcomes. She uses a state of the art 3D scanner for precise fabrication of crowns, bridges, veneers, and night guards that eliminates the need for impression materials. Dr. Irene also uses loupes with high power magnification and light for all treatments, allowing her to remove only diseased tooth structure very accurately and keep intact as much healthy tooth structure as possible. In addition, she only uses the most high end materials and supplies to ensure dental treatments that feel great and last. Dr. Irene understands patients’ fear of anesthetic and has invested in multiple devices which make injections painless and ensure profound numbness to increase comfort and create a painless experience. Dr. Irene believes in ethical treatment and in minimally invasive dentistry and preservation of your natural tooth structure by early detection and by addressing issues and their causes early on, before they grow to cause pain and require more extensive treatment. Dr. Irene believes that all treatment related decisions need to be fully understood and agreed upon by her patients. She believes in education and empowerment and will explain every condition in detail. She uses an intra-oral camera to show you any areas of concern, allowing her to have an in depth discussion with you and answer any questions you may have.
