About Howard G. Milstein, MD
Dr. Milstein is a Board Certified Dermatologist. He is the founder of La Jolla Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery Center. His patients come from all over the world to seek his expertise. He is known for and specializes in difficult second opinions in making a diagnosis and organized treatment plans. Howard G. Milstein, M.D. also specializes in Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology. He is a leader in developing techniques for the use of Lasers in the treatment of the skin and sun aging. Dr. Milstein has also developed a skin care plan to use Retina-A cream special moisturizers and antioxidants to slow aging of the skin and prevent skin cancers. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at University of California, San Diego and teaches medical students and dermatology residents. Dr. Milstein is a third generation medical care giver from St. Paul, Minnesota. After graduating from the University of Minnesota Medical School, he was a dermatology fellow at Stanford University, the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, a Research Fellow at the Scripps Clinic, La Jolla,California, and completed his Dermatology residency at UCSD in San Diego. He is a life member of the American Academy of Dermatology, and is a member of the San Diego Dermatology Society, the San Diego Medical Society, and the American Medical Association.
