About Hazle S. Konerding, MD
Dr. Hazle Konerding has been a practicing dermatologist in the Central Virginia region for nearly 30 years. She is the founding partner of Commonwealth Dermatology and continues to serve as its President. Dr. Konerding is Board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and has been named Top Doc in Dermatology by Richmond Magazine. She is Past President of the Richmond Academy of Medicine and the Medical Society of Virginia and continues to serve on the MSV insurance center board of directors as well as the Virginia AMA delegations. She has held leadership positions in the American Academy of Dermatology and is currently Chair of Access Now, a virtual free clinic offering specialty medical care to indigent persons in Central Virgina. She has also served in a variety of leadership positions for Bon Secours Health System. Dr. Konerding and her husband have 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren. She has a passion for community service. Among the many ways she serves, has been her involvement in Rotary and other community organizations.
