About Gregory Young, DDS
Dr. Gregory Young is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and holds an undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Since graduation, he has been serving the Oakland and Piedmont communities for over a decade. He holds professional memberships with the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Alameda County Dental Association. In addition to California, Dr. Young is certified to practice in 15 other states. He is married with two daughters and lives locally in Piedmont. He enjoys reading, sports, travelling, cooking, and eating. Outside of the office, he serves as Firefighter/EMT with the San Francisco Fire Department. Dr. Young maintains a family practice treating adults, seniors, and children in all phases of dentistry. His specialties include simple fillings, cleanings, crown and bridge reconstruction, dentures, root canals, and implants. He has concentrated his advanced training and continuing eduation in aesthetic bonding and veneers, TMJ dysfunction, full mouth rehabilitation, occlusion, and laser assisted dentistry. Annually, he surpasses the required continuing education hours by far. In addition to private practice, he has volunteered for over seven years as the senior dentist at the Berkeley Free Clinic and has given oral health presentations at many local schools.
