About Gregory C. Hazen, MD
Dr. Hazen is an exceptionally skilled, board-certified Ophthalmologist and has been with Andersen Eye Associates since 1999. He has been the medical director since 2013. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University and completed his Ophthalmology Residency at Kresge Eye Institute/Wayne State University. Dr. Hazen completed a fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery at Kresge Eye Institute/Wayne State University. Since joining Andersen Eye Associates, Dr. Hazen has completed over 10,000 cataract procedures, over 2,500 oculoplastic surgeries, and approximately 2,000 LASEK procedures. Dr. Hazen is active in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the Saginaw County Medical Society and Michigan State Medical Society. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology in the Surgical Sciences Discipline for Central Michigan University’s College of Medicine. Dr. Hazen is a member of the active medical staff at Covenant HealthCare and St. Mary's Medical Center in Saginaw.
