About Glenn Kolansky, MD
Glenn Kolansky, MD, FAAD, is the board-certified dermatologist at Advanced Dermatology Surgery & Laser Center in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. The fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon has a passion for excellence in dermatology and helping his patients enjoy healthy, beautiful skin. After graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Kolansky went on to earn his medical degree at the State University of New York Health Science Center, also in Brooklyn. He then did his internship in internal medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City before completing his dermatology residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. To further enhance his skills, Dr. Kolansky completed a two-year fellowship at the University of Iowa in Iowa City in Mohs micrographic surgery, dermatologic surgery, laser surgery, and reconstruction. Dr. Kolansky is a Diplomate of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is board-certified in dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Kolansky is also a fellow of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology. Dedicated to his profession, Dr. Kolansky has conducted and published numerous research papers within the field of dermatology. In recognition of his dedication and leadership, he has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the NJ Top Doctor Award every year since 2013, and the 2018 Doctors’ Choice Awards Top 100, which is based on reviews by other doctors. Dr. Kolansky is licensed not only in New Jersey, but also in New York and California. When he’s not helping improve his patients’ skin health, Dr. Kolansky volunteers for the American Cancer Society providing lectures and skin cancer screenings. Recognized for his commitment to skin cancer care, he was awarded the prestigious Physician of Hope Award by the American Cancer Society.
