About German Newall, MD
Dr. Germán Newall is a native of Peru who immigrated to the United States to pursue a career in medicine. After earning his medical degree from Georgetown University, he chose to specialize in aesthetic plastic surgery. For Houston Plastic Surgeon Dr. German Newall, plastic surgery is not just a profession, but it is a passion, which reflects the satisfaction he finds in helping others achieve their appearance dreams. He is a founding partner of the Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery in Houston, Texas, the largest private plastic surgery practice in Texas. With more than 20 years of professional experience, he is consistently ranked as one of the top plastic surgeons in Houston. Dr. Newall is specifically recognized as an expert in large volume liposuction and has dedicated years of his career to researching and presenting on safety in large volume liposuction as well as the benefits of using fat grafts for buttock enhancement and fat transfers to the face. His expertise as a surgeon has earned him repeated recognition among Houston area physicians as a “Top Doctor” in Plastic Surgery by H-Texas® magazine every year since 2003. This honor displays their respect towards Dr. Newall, choosing him as the plastic surgeon to whom they would entrust their family and friends. Additionally, he was named Guest Faculty member and received an Honorary award from the Association of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery of Guatemala. Dr. Newall received a certificate for the Best Journal Article by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in May 2009 for his article entitled, “Thromboembolism in High-Risk Aesthetic Surgery: Experience with 17 Patients in a Review of 3871 Consecutive Cases,” published in 2008.
